Wine Barrique opened its doors in February 2020 in the picturesque Ymittos Square, in Ymittos, to realize the dream of its owners, Anna Nine & Tasos Papadakis to offer some of the finest Greek wines paired with comfort dishes, inspired by the Mediterranean and international cuisine.
The menu has been edited by Tasos Papadakis, who, after a 12-year career in a bank, decided to pursue his passion for cooking, professionally. Having experience from wine bars & restaurants, he always draws inspiration from it to create delicious accompaniments, aiming for a new dining experience. He says “you need respect for the raw material, technique, and love for what you do in order to create something delicious.”

The wine list is curated by Anna Nine. After her first professional station in a bank, it was wine that really won her, which she studied at the level of tasting through WSET, successfully completing the 3rd level. She then specialized in the Greek vinery working in liquor stores and wineries in the field of tours, tasting, and sales.
